Made from strong, clear plastic, with a tight fitting lid. Available in a variety of sizes... and you get to eat the chocolate first! I think the designer of the Ferrero Rocher packaging must be an ant keeper! They are ideal for small colonies (I'm using the smallest for a couple of queens and a pack of 16 for my M. barbarus and F. fusca). They are a little difficult to drill, but it can be done (allowing the addition of more chambers).

I can't remember who it was now, but another member of our Ant Hill said that these plastic boxes are great for ants. Personally I don't like the chocolate that much, but the empty box does seem useful for turning into a homemade Formicarium

I connect my test tubes to them they perfect for a foraging chamber when starting a colony.

I very often are able to get hold of these boxes, as a relative at work buys us these chocolates for us staff. Personally I cannot stand them, they always have a weird cardboard taste. I give the chocs away and keep the box. My military models are kept in the pyramid one at the present time, but it would be good for ants
