Please remember that sending a PM to another member is for personal use only. Private messages should not be used as a chat room or to harass another member about anything that can be posted on the forum, as this is against the rules anyway.
Any member who feels they are being cyber stalked via the PM system can block another member by entering the other member(s) user name in their preferences box.

If you have any ant related questions or facts, then please post these directly onto the forum boards, as myself and Wood will not offer personal advice via the PM where it can be best placed on a board for all to read and offer their advice and answers.

Members who do want advice about the forum should send a PM directly to me, as I alone am solely responsible for for the running of this forum; and NOT to Wood Ant, as he is not in any way my co-admin or deputy, but is on the staff for his knowledge about ants.
All of my Ant Hill Patrollers are here to help, but please do not harass or bombard any of them with private messages concerning the forum, or for information about ants which should be posted on the forum openly for all members to help with.

Also, only give out personal information such as email addresses, phone numbers or home addresses in a PM if you feel you completely trust the person you are contacting, as anything sent or received in a PM is entirely at your own risk and you alone are responsible. The staff of Ant Hill World do not, and cannot accept responsibility for any private information you may divulge to someone else, and we will not be held accountable or liable for your own private actions.

Important Notice

I have been getting PM messages from a few members concerning functions used on the forum.

Will all members please be aware that I have nothing to do with anything where the running of the forum is concerned, and all such questions should be directly sent to Jenant who is the admin; and is the person who runs all visual tools for Ant Hill World.
There is no deputy admin and Jen is solely in charge when it comes down to forum issues, so all queries about anything you see or use on this forum must be directed to her.

Thanks for everyone's co-operation regarding this matter, as I simply cannot answer PM's about the running of this forum, so please send them to Jen

I am getting PM's sent to me by a few members asking for my help concerning ant information, which really should be posted on the forum for everyone to read and help with.

I do not wish to lock my messages to members, but must ask that the members who PM me for such info to stop doing this, as I am not going to give a personal answer service to a few as this would be unfair to other members.

From now on I reserve the right not to answer any PM's asking me how to keep ants, or hunt for them, as all such requests can be asked on the forum for all members to answer.
This is why we have a forum about ants, and how to keep them, so that we can all chip in with our bit of information and experiences for the benefit of all.

So to those members who do so, I politely ask them to please stop sending me private messages asking for my help on how to care for your ants, as if certain members persist in doing so they may find I will block them so they can never PM me again
