I know it can be hard for young ant lovers who use computers and wish to learn more about ants, as if you're a 10 or 11 year old you simply cannot legally join a forum such as Ant Hill World owing to the fact that Proboards Terms of Service (TOS) regulations require all of their forums to follow the state laws of California in the USA where Proboards are based.
We therefore ask that all members MUST be a minimum age of 13, as if you happen to be just 12 yrs and 11 months you still cannot join us until you reach the legal age of 13.
This may sound unfair, but it is the requirement laid down by the server providers. Anyone who is found to be below the legal age to join this, or any other Proboards forum, will have their account removed.
If this were not done then the forum is in danger of being deleted, and as the Ant Hill has stood solidly for nearly 7 years now, it would be most unfair to all its members to lose it with all the hard work everyone has put into this forum
If you are a boy or girl who loves ants, but not yet 13 years old, then you can find a lot about them on my Ant Hill Wood site. Or you can legally ask your parents or older brothers or sisters to join a forum, as then they can ask the questions you wish to know; and when you become old enough to join at the age of 13, then you are very welcome to do so as we have lots of people around the world who love to help fellow ant lovers
