Unless you are one of those people who only posts actively during the time your ants busy, then in that case you are a seasonal hobbyist who will hibernate just like your ants are doing during the long Winter months ahead.
Ant Hill World does not close down just because we here in Britain have native ant species which become dormant, so whether you keep ants that hibernate or not, this forum will always be open for all members and guests 52 weeks a year, so please continue to visit us as we value your input.
There is always something to talk about and topics of interest to post on, and although our UK Winter may be a quiet time, with members in lots of countries with tropical climates there is always somebody with active ants; and some of us even keep tropical ants and other species which remain active throughout the entire year, so the hobby doesn't have to be purely restricted to Spring and Summer.
Please Remember, we are here for you as this is YOUR forum as much as it is anyone's, and for this reason we have become the biggest and best UK based ant forum that you will ever find to join. ;D
