I am so p*****d off and angry at my current web site provider, Webs.com. in the USA. They sent me a reminder to say my domain name of anthillwood.co.uk is due to expire on March 12th, and I needed to renew it or lose it. So I did as they asked and logged into my account to pay for a further 2 years. Sounds fine you might say? I did this no less than 7 times, and each time the payment area of their site took me back to a box saying my details were not correct. I entered my details exactly correct, but they said they don't match what they have on file, so as I cannot contact them it looks like I will lose my domain name thanks to their stupidity. I have now opened a new account with a London based site provider, and have paid for a new domain name (www.anthillwoods.co.uk) as it looks like I will have to move my site soon to this new domain. Webs.com, or Freewebs as they used to be were fine when I first opened a free site about 10 years ago; but since I opened up a paid site with them 7 years ago, and they changed their name and added more features, they have steadily got worse. So it looks like my Ant Hill Wood will be moving in a few weeks, which means I will have to change all URL links and move my text content and photos to my new provider; and all because Webs.com are so bloody useless at being contacted.

I am in the process of moving my site, and hope to retain my original domain name of anthillwood.co.uk, as I have repurchased it from another domain company. This URL should eventually link to the new site all being well. The new site is a free one at present, though I may upgrade to the paid for Gold version later this year. My new site construction is here, but is not yet completed. www.spanglefish.com/anthillwood/index.asp
