Good morning, I recently purchased a Crematogaster scuterallis queen which should have arrived with a couple of workers but did not . Despite this she seems to be doing fine on small droplets of honey and ant jelly which seems to have done her good as her gaster has enlarged quite a bit and has laid her fist batch of eggs! She is currently in a test tube and once she has her first 15-20 workers I shall move them into a small cork nest which I have set up. Attached is a picture of her: Thanks for reading, Blem12.

Good morning,
well she is still with us and is doing extremely well! She has half a dozen eggs and quite a few chunky larvae! There is a small heat mat beneath her test tube which remains at 24C throughout the day and 17C at night. I do this using a thermostat connected to a timer.
Her gaster is very swollen, sign that she has more eggs to lay/and or has been fed well.
Thanks for reading, Blem12.

Good morning, unfortunately this queen is no longer with us as she died yesterday. She managed two raise 4 workers but somehow they slowly died off, leaving the queen alone. Thanks, Blem12
