Is anyone going to hazard a guess at this ant, which could probably kill a werewolf if it was silver, or be a train in Japan.

Thanks BSF Small clue. This ant lives in a fungus garden, but isn't necessarily a Leaf Cutter Ant.

It looks like the social parasite Megalomyrmex symmetochus which parasites the North American fungus growing ant Trachymyrmex.
