Has anybody been to the West Midlands Safari Park, I hadn't been since I was younger and it has changed so much. They have an insect section now with ants in. I was walking through and they had a large colony of leaf cutter ants, was brilliant watching them move across the tree collecting leaves.
It did rain though which was a downside, but I was in my car and all the animals came over. We got to feed them and everything. Was a great day.

I've been to the West Midlands safari park 2-3 times, I've seen the atta leafcutters once, it was a small colony then.

I have a digital camera but it's quite old and not very good, teh picture quality isn't brilliant and I need to get some new batteries. Next time I go I shall borrow my dads camera which is brilliant. The colony seemed quite large wood, but they didn't have any information signs up, so I don't know the size it's at.
