Oh no, I was removing an old dead spider from my lem queens nest and as I lifted it there was lots of little white flees/flies jumping about, they dissappeared very quickly into the soil and didnt get a good look at them, is this a problem? I did find a couple of tiny flies in the nest a week or so ago and removed them, do not know where they came from.

My uninvited guests have been multiplying, so I did a bit of digging around on the net and I think they are called springtails, they live in moist soil conditions eating rotting plant material and fungus and can be found living in ant and termite nests, so I shall relax and let them do some housework, and just incase your wondering if they can be gotten rid of, all sites say to allow the soil to completely dry !!!! Not very good for the ants Sent from my GT-I8150 using proboards
