Amazing journal so far. Does that queen still have her wings? I thought the workers would've chewed them off within the first few months. Yes she still have wings, only one to be exact. I have another C. paria colony where the workers chewed off half of the wings, but that's not happened with this colony.

I tryied to film her but she escape from light, you can see the last picture of the queen I have taken on page 2 of this thread (second post) or in this very short movie (sorry, best I can do for now). She have now only one wing left.

Very fast at doing a disappearing act, but queens do the same thing in my colonies for days sometimes. I love the colour of this species.
