We now have several members keeping various species of Acromyrmex and Atta that Jenant and I thought it a nice idea (hers, not mine by the way) to create a title for them. They are not in a group as far as their rank is concerned, but each member that keeps Leaf Cutter Ants now has a special title as belonging to the Leaf Cutter Club. So any member with this title on their profile now shows visitors to the forum that they are keeping Leaf Cutters.

For his help teaching other members who are, or wish to keep Leaf Cutter Ants, Adam James has been made leader of this group. A new title and group photo has been made for Adam, and this makes him the best person to offer advice on the keeping of Leaf Cutter Ants in the home, and we think the rest of the Leaf Cutter Club members will agree that they too have learned a lot from Adam. While Adam is not officially on the staff, this does give him some of the respect he has earned on this forum for all his help and advice for keeping Atta ants in his home. Nice one Adam

To be considered for the Leaf Cutter Club, you actually have to own a Leaf Cutter Ant species colony. Having the idea and building a formicarium does not give you access to this group

As Adam sadly no longer has his Atta colony, but is still a Leaf Cutter Club Leader with a lot of knowledge, he is now joined by another member who is also a very successful keeper of Atta with a lot of experience. Leafcutter is now added as a Club Leader as he is a very dedicated keeper of Leaf Cutter Ants.
