My bedroom is hitting the 30C tonight, fan is on window open wide, Messors loving it but I'm not phew.... Way to hot to sleep, and the dogs are restless so I just might have to kip in the livingroom yet, which is north facing. I don't know how people in hot countries can stick it, or when they go on holiday...

I managed to cut power to the entire house earlier today for three hours when I plugged my fan in. Looks like it'll be a tough night for me as well, since I'm not allowed to switch it on. When I went to Morocco (Where the average temperature in June is over 30C) the local people actually found it chilly. They were wearing wooly jumpers and everything!

I feel like a jacket potato still left in oven.

I find the best way is to have the top windows open all the time. I'm not sure if this helps but try listening to ocean noises as it helps me sleep and cool down.
