Wood has been busy with his camcorder again filming the queens of this new colony. The first one is fun as it shows a very protective worker drag the queen to safety.

Wow they are very fast moving even with dragging poor queen to safety. Seems I got my wish in seeing that happen on camera. Thanks Woody also great video of them.

This is one colony I had which I sadly miss, as by putting this species into a Ytong nest it proved to be a very bad mistake and the colony died out.

Don't use concrete nests any longer after having some really bad experiences with them from a supplier who will be nameless who used to be a member here.

I'm still going strong with a few of my nests from the person you do not name but there I am still thinking of how beneficial acrylic could be... Maybe my other half will let me get one soon
