A lot of people visit a forum because of its size, as many have thousands of members and can be very active. There are much bigger ant forums than us in countries like France, Spain and the United states of America; and they may be very active and attract lots of ant experts to them. I feel that what really counts is good community spirit, as it doesn't matter if a forum has 300 members or visitors, 3,000 or even 30,000, as when it comes down to the people who visit our forum each day I find we have a great team spirit here on the Ant Hill. It isn't size that matters, or the quantity of posts and threads; but the people who join us and make this forum a really nice place to pop into and discuss things about ants or other subjects, as the topics are varied and interesting. Some bad members do arise from time to time, but they are few and far between luckily for the rest of us who enjoy being ant keepers. Some are members of other forums and may post different items to what they do elsewhere or here, and it would be great for those who may be that little bit more expert to post some of the topics they post elsewhere on here too; but it doesn't change the fact that we have a very nice community of like minded folks from around the world, though more are always welcome to our happy band, so do consider joining us if you're a regular visitor to our Ant Hill World, as the sense of belonging to such a lovely crowd is well worth the effort if you wish to learn more about myrmecology.
