We have so many stick insect eggs, mostly Macleay's Spectre, that we will be able to sell off some for Ant Hill World members. Nymphs (young insects) cost £3 - £4 each to buy, but we can offer about 12 eggs per member for only £5 which includes P&P. (UK prices) If anyone is interested, please PM myself or Jenant. Hey wood! Half way there! Few more jobs round the house and I'll be able to afford some Had to pay Andy first though as he wanted the payment before so I'll save up another £5 to afford them, hope you understand?

We have collected a lot more eggs, so if anyone wishes to buy some we can send you a minimum of 15 eggs for only £5, as you will most likely get a few more. These eggs sell for this price for just 10 eggs from other sellers, but we prefer to give you guys a bargain for the price. Just PM Jen or myself if you wish to get these, as the adults are incredible and the baby nymphs look just like Eciton Army Ants.

What's the best enclosure to keep them in? Surely their small enough to crawl through the ventilations gaps / holes?

For an adult something like this will be perfect. link But it will need plenty of branches to climb on because they can't climb up glass very well.

When they're babies, you have to watch the size of ventilation holes. They squeeze through gaps, easily when young. But when they are adult, the females are fat and clumsy, and the males can fly off your hand across the room for about 5ft. Mine are in a 2ft fish tank with metal mesh covering the holes in the lid. I keep them in big tubs when small, they eat tons of bramble, so you need a big supply.

Some of these eggs have been sold and sent out, so if you want any there are still plenty left; but of course we will be keeping a lot, so make the most of this offer while it lasts.

I wonder when the 2 remaining females will stop laying eggs, as I have just collected another 47 from them today. Younger members who wish to buy some will now get 7 eggs free added to the 20 they buy.

We have now collected so many eggs that we have had to chuck some away, having no more space for the surplus. Some of you guys would be doing me a real favour by having some, as it may be a few months before these hatch into nymphs; but when they eventually do we will have a lot of babies, and if we sell them on they will cost more than we can sell the eggs for.
