Tablet's are becoming ever more popular than ever! I can see it one day of replacing Desktop computers all together, I don't know how the gaming community would react about that though! You can even get Laptops that can transform into Tablets What's your thoughts? Do you use a Tablet? I myself own a Windows 8.1 Tablet, it's a bit of a beast in terms of specs. If I'd had a choice, I'd choose the Tablet over my Desktop Tower

I frequently use my iPad Mini, in fact I'm using it to reply to your post. I have a laptop that I do most of my work on, but this tablet is portable and convenient to use on the go.

I use a Samsung Galaxy Note tablet a lot of the time, but find the touch pads frustrating to type on. If I want to do serious stuff, then it is the laptop with a mouse everytime The reason I don't stay on main computers for long is I have breathing problems and they set me off sneezing, and coughing so they must pollute the air.

The only downside to the Pro2, is it's back to the lousy Windows again I am sick of Windows they always play up. I try to stick with Android as much as possible, but touch pads are no good.

They all have their ups and downs. Windows 10 is going to be released soon. It's going to be a free upgrade for Windows 7 and 8/8.1 users.

We have only just had a new computer 8.1, they really like you to just keep spending. I have heard upgrades are dodgy on an older systems. 10 is supposed to be totally different to previous Windows, hence the jump in number. I am not that enthralled with Windows 8.1 with their silly ways of hiding stuff around the screen and crashing your browser. I guess it will only get worse as technology moves on. Are Apple computers any better, I often wonder as most Americans appear to use them more than our stuck in the rut Microsoft Windows? I worked with chap that wouldn't use anything else but Apple Mac, he said it was totally different to Windows, from what I've read they have always been more expensive.

Personally I don't like using mobile devices such as iphones or note pads, as the work I do is best done on a computer; and our laptop is more secure for ordering things too. If we had had internet phones or ipads when I was at school they would have been confiscated as being too much of a distraction. We could not even use a calculator, just books, pencils and pens; and good old grey matter. The same applied in the work place too, you used your brain and not a mobile electronic device. Technology has gone crazy and makes people of today lazy, progress does not always mean things get better in life.
