OK, since I've not used this supplier before I will be ordering a tester lot first which I am taking pre-orders for ( no money until they arrive in UK and are fine ).
I will have the following and will be keeping prices as low as possible and cheaper than the German sites.
Messor aciculatus, 1 queen + 3-10 workers - £15 Camponotus japonicus, 1 queen + 1-5 workers - £18 Formica longipes, 1 queen + 5-10 workers - £16 Ofontomachus rixosus, 1 queen + 8-10 workers - £20 Pheidole yeensis, 1 queen, + 20-40 workers - £16.50 2 queens + 20-40 workers - £24
Polyrhachis dives, 1 queen + 10-20 workers £20 Pheidologeton diversus 1 queen +500 workers - £24
Shipping will be signed for next day £4.40 Again just looking for pre-orders, no money just now until I receive them and check all is fine.

Those prices are amazing! If the supplier is good how frequent will you get exotics in? I'd love to get some, but I'm off on holiday soon and so I wouldn't want to leave exotic species by themselves. I've read that Odontomachus is easy to keep, so I may try with some of them.

I will be buying on a monthly basis. This is the same supplier antstore uses for all its Asian species so I know he is good

WOW amazing prices, nice 1 deansyme!I bagsy the first Camponotus japonicus colony. The Pheidologeton diversus 1 queen +500 workers - £24 is an amazing price, will have to move house though to have room for a decent set up.

To me, these species should be available to all of us, not just those with deep pockets. I know some sites that have 200% to 300% mark up on the Asian ( and presume other species ), it may surprise you to know I am only making £3 - £5 on most of the above, this includes the sourcing, and packaging and time involved. Yes I want to make a little to make it worth while but it is to me as it is to all of us, at the end of the day a hobby to be enjoyed by all.

My new supplier is sending me a small sample of a couple of colonies to test shipping times, general health, and other factors. If all goes well I will be ordering large lots twice a month

Same occulutus, I need to move first my favourite species. I would love some, but they would end up eating my puppy in my flat!

Ok a couple of things today. 1. I am ordering a few colonies of Asian ants today, so do if you wish pm me what you were interested in again or post here.
2. I am in discussion with a few factories in the Far East regarding acrylic nests and out worlds. I will be sending them tech drawings and would love the forums input and ideas of what you think would be good designs.
From there I will get some samples made and take it from there.
Thanks Dean
