From what I can tell I have maybe 2 queens about 12 - 15 workers and about a quarter of a table spoon of eggs/larva , not quiet exactly what the description said, will order from a uk retailer once my habitat arrives.

Seem to be doing well, hard to say if there are more ants but I want to say there is, with a decent amount of eggs / pupa

19 days since I ordered from queen ant shop and still no sign that it's even been shipped yet... ants just chilling in a ice cream tub at the moment.

If you ordered a ytong nest then it will take a few weeks to arrive.

Make sure to give them a constant supply of water on a cotton bud or tissue. The guy at the Queenantshop uses his spare time to hand make the ytong nests himself at the finest quality he can, so it will take a few weeks.

Got ma ytong now the ants are in the feeding arena, do not know best way to get brood to move into ytong, put some random workers into ytong in hopes theyd find the nice dark area and tell everyone else, rather than the lit up arena, any other suggestions ?? <3

Workers will move the brood and queen when they're ready into the nest.

Finally giving them some honey I got from antsUK, lets see how they react. Two night ago I gave them a large moth that came in my room and they munched down everything but the wings and legs egg laying seems to have boomed as a result.

This time I tried some of the dried insects from AntsUk, and safe to say they like it after dragging half of the food back into the water test tube/reservoir. I've also been using small caps to put the various foods on and so far the honey they didn't like and just dumped all the rubbish on it... The larva also seem to be more like pupa now as well so hopefully some more ants will be running around soon.
