I enquired about a refund to Antstore and they say that they can't because it is a one off item and they can't replace it I am never going to buy off them again, next time I will probably be buying either from ants kalyyta or world-of-ants.com Perhaps they supply to the customer demands. They shouldn't say they are in stock when they are not! Antstore never have been to me a good company dealing in the care of livestock. I would choose Kalytta everytime, you just have to be willing to pay that bit extra for quality

today I visited pets at home, a UK Pet Store for anybody who doesn't know, and I purchased a huge bamboo root for £20... I am using it for the crossing between the nest and the tank of leaves where the ants will cross to get the leaves and bring them back

I have a slight problem, I was forced to move the tank downstairs to a much cooler room. With the heating and water heater and lamp altogether the highest temp I can get down there in the tank is 22Oc, I am worried but it's not much of difference

I think you may find that 22C. is a bit low for tropical Leaf Cutter Ants, as if it is only this temperature now that summer is here, what might it drop to come winter?
